Teen Project Learning is an integrated skills project-based course designed to build interpersonal communication skills through teamwork and multimedia interaction, with teen-centered materials. Sample projects range from individual to full-class endeavours, and are designed to motivate and inspire.
Each project will require individual and teamwork and culminate in a weekly presentation. Class time for this program is divided equally into accessing real-world English media, from music to movies to a novel for teens, as well as fun reading and writing tasks using multimedia and popular culture, such as learning idioms through pop music, or reading excerpts from novels for young adults, such as The Hunger Games.
This course is also recommended as a high school preparation course for students entering into the Canadian High School system and as such includes acclimatizing to Canadian culture and learning classroom academic skills.
